# Service availability
OpenAI and Anthropic maintain separate availability policies that can change. A translated site does not mean a product is available in every region; confirm the official lists and the current status of your account.

## Taiwan and Hong Kong
### Taiwan
Taiwan currently appears in the official availability lists for OpenAI ChatGPT, the OpenAI API, the Anthropic API and Claude.ai.
### Hong Kong
Hong Kong does not currently appear in the official OpenAI or Anthropic availability lists. Policies can change, so check again before ordering.
## Major regions not currently listed by both providers
Being outside a supported list does not imply one uniform legal or sanctions status, and using a different network route does not create official support.
### Not currently listed by either provider
Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba and Venezuela do not currently appear in either provider's official availability list.
### Parts of Ukraine
Anthropic currently excludes Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia. OpenAI lists Ukraine with certain exceptions.

### No guarantee of bypassing regional limits
A VPN or other network tool does not turn an unsupported region into an officially supported one. Xingqiao does not guarantee access, account stability or continued availability in unsupported regions.

### Does a supported site language mean the product is available in my region?
No. Site languages improve reading and checkout, while product availability is controlled by OpenAI, Anthropic and relevant payment providers.
