After paying you submit your student verification link and Google account email, with no password needed; if verification fails you get a full refund. ## How to get your student verification link (with screenshots)
Do these 4 steps after paying. It takes about 2 minutes and needs no password. The screenshots show Google's Traditional Chinese pages; in your language the buttons are in the same place.
### ① Open the Gemini student page
In a computer browser, sign in to the personal Google account you want to upgrade, open https://gemini.google/students/ (the Taiwan page https://gemini.google/tw/students/?hl=zh-TW also works), and click the button to apply for the free student plan (red box ① in the screenshot).
### ② Check it says Google AI Pro, free for 12 months
On the university student offer page, check that it shows Google AI Pro, free for 12 months, then click the button to get the student offer (red box ②).
### ③ Click Continue
In the dialog, click Continue (red box ③). You are taken to SheerID's “Verify your student status” page.
### ④ Copy the URL from the address bar and paste it on your order page
Don't fill in the form on that page and don't click Verify. Copy the full URL from the browser address bar (it starts with https://services.sheerid.com/verify/ and contains verificationId) and submit it in the student verification link box on your Xingqiao order page. Each order accepts only the first successful submission.

### ⑤ Wait for verification, then confirm in Google One and add a card
Verification usually takes 3–5 minutes after you submit (actual time may vary). When we notify you, go back to the Google One page, continue to confirm, and add your own Visa or Mastercard (a card that pays in foreign currency) when prompted. Google may place a small verification charge and refund it. When your account shows the student Google AI Pro plan, activation succeeded.
### ⑥ Cancel auto-renew
After activation, cancel auto-renew in your Google One subscription settings so you are not charged US$19.99/mo after 12 months. You keep the plan for the offer period, ending on the date Google shows.
